Prof. Wolfgang Kern (MUL) – Supervisor of Researcher 2: Full Professor, he has supervised 30 PhD theses (4 ongoing) since 2007. His expertise and research activity focus on polymer photochemistry, modification of organic/inorganic surfaces, attachment of functional and light-responsive moieties onto surfaces. He authored or co-authored 168 papers in peer-reviewed journals, and is (co-)inventor of 19 patents (national and international).
